Consolidated PropTech Analytics
The Impact
ENHANCED DECISION-MAKING & OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY
Delivering seamless, role-specific, advanced analytics through intuitive dashboards, enabling real-time insights into property management, financial performance, and operational metrics, while maintaining robust security and scalability.
The Client
A Swiss-based tech firm provides digital solutions for real estate management, offering tools that centralize data and streamline tasks such as accounting, tenant management, and maintenance. Their services prioritize data security and customization, supported by a team of developers and strategists.
The Challenge
The client needed to consolidate heterogeneous data from MongoDB, SQL, and the complex Abacus ERP system into a unique data model to power advanced analytics. Key challenges included:
- Merging disparate data sources with differing schemas and structures, particularly the intricate Abacus ERP model
- Ensuring high-performance analytics for diverse dashboards (e.g., occupancy, device management, insurance, marketing, budgets) while maintaining data accuracy and security
- Providing an intuitive, embedded analytics experience within the client’s platform, with role-based access to sensitive data
The Solution
icCube provided the PropTech client with an analytics solution that consolidated complex data into a single source of truth, enabling better decision-making and operational efficiency. Using a custom connector and a sophisticated ETL process with advanced data manipulation techniques, icCube integrated data from MongoDB, SQL, and Abacus ERP into a single data model that feeds role-specific dashboards. These dashboards are directly embedded into the PropTech UI, appearing native to end users while hiding the backend complexity, ensuring a seamless experience. The solution also offers a secure, scalable foundation for customized analytics and future growth, with access controls ensuring users only see data relevant to their roles. The solution now allows property managers and owners to monitor occupancy, refine marketing strategies, manage insurance, track budgets more effectively, and more.
